Marstrand Family Camping
The challenge
Marstrand's family campsite is a medium-sized Swedish campsite on the outskirts of Marstrand. The campsite is managed and owned by a family who, with a limited staff, have been forced to give up work with their digital presence. The challenge of managing the information displayed online for MFC has been strenuous and tricky, manual handling is time consuming and took time from service by guests and more. Opening hours, address, payment methods, descriptions, images and so on were published across most platforms without MFC's knowledge.
The information available on the various platforms was deficient, which affected their visibility and conversion of those who found the profiles. As a result, the applicants were met by incorrect and sometimes complete lack of important information such as opening hours.
With the collaboration, MFC sought a solution to shorten the management of the profiles as well as protect its brand and increase its visibility online.
Solution
At start-up, Act Local helped to give MFC ownership of the existing profiles and published various new profiles across large and well-used platforms. As Act Local optimized MFC's information, conversions and views of their profiles increased significantly in the first months. As everything is now controlled through a main profile on Act Local's platform, MFC has now been able to control its information and communicate with its customers from one and the same platform.
The 30 profiles that have been published have helped MFC increase its visibility on 10x keywords they have chosen on Act Local. Since the collaboration with Act Local began, MFC has increased its traffic by%. Act local continues to assist MFC in maintaining and maximizing the digital presence for its day-to-day operations.
